Yakovlev Yak-25/26/27/28: Yakovlev's Tactical Twinjets КНИГИ ;ВОЕННАЯ ИСТОРИЯ Yakovlev Yak-25/26/27/28: Yakovlev's Tactical TwinjetsByYefim Gordon, Dmitriy KomissarovPublisher:Midland Publishing2002 128 PagesISBN: 1857801253PDF78 MBDuring the 1950s and 1960s the Soviet design bureau Yakovlev was responsible for a series of swept-wing, twin-engined, tactical jet combat aircraft. The Yak-25 Flashlight, which was first flown in 1953, was a tandem-seat fighter interceptor with bicycle landing gear. From this basic design stemmed other developments including the Yak-25RD Mandrake, an aircraft designed for reconnaissance duties, and the Yak-26, which was a three-seater with strengthened wings. The Yak-27 was a further improvement, known to NATO by the code word Mangrove. A variant of this type, the 27P which had a night fighter role, was called Flashlight-C. The slightly larger Yak-28 Brewer first appeared in public in 1961 at Tushino. Although this bore a strong family resemblance to the earlier Yak-25, 26 and 27s, the Yak-28 was a completely new design which largely replaced the IL-28 with the VVF. The complete Yak family is covered in detail in this Aerofax which continues the series' respected coverage of Soviet airpower. As with the other Soviet books, this one offers a mass of new information, detail and illustrations drawn from original Russian sources. Much of this material is appearing in print for the first time. An addition to the range of successful Aerofax titles on Soviet aviation. Much of the material in the book is drawn from Russian sources and has not been seen before in the West. Highly illustrated with over 250 photos in addition to drawings and side views. The well respected Aerofax series appeals to both modellers and historians. The promotion of the book will be aimed at both these interest groups. letitbitsharingmatrix 0 p0001.jpg......Page 1 p0002.jpg......Page 2 p0003.jpg......Page 3 p0004.jpg......Page 4 p0005.jpg......Page 5 p0006.jpg......Page 6 p0007.jpg......Page 7 p0008.jpg......Page 8 p0009.jpg......Page 9 p0010.jpg......Page 10 p0012.jpg......Page 11 p0013.jpg......Page 12 p0014.jpg......Page 13 p0015.jpg......Page 14 p0016.jpg......Page 15 p0017.jpg......Page 16 p0018.jpg......Page 17 p0019.jpg......Page 18 p0020.jpg......Page 19 p0021.jpg......Page 20 p0022.jpg......Page 21 p0023.jpg......Page 22 p0024.jpg......Page 23 p0025.jpg......Page 24 p0026.jpg......Page 25 p0027.jpg......Page 26 p0028.jpg......Page 27 p0029.jpg......Page 28 p0030.jpg......Page 29 p0031.jpg......Page 30 p0032.jpg......Page 31 p0033.jpg......Page 32 p0034.jpg......Page 33 p0035.jpg......Page 34 p0036.jpg......Page 35 p0037.jpg......Page 36 p0038.jpg......Page 37 p0039.jpg......Page 38 p0040.jpg......Page 39 p0041.jpg......Page 40 p0042.jpg......Page 41 p0043.jpg......Page 42 p0044.jpg......Page 43 p0045.jpg......Page 44 p0046.jpg......Page 45 p0047.jpg......Page 46 p0048.jpg......Page 47 p0049.jpg......Page 48 p0050.jpg......Page 49 p0051.jpg......Page 50 p0052.jpg......Page 51 p0053.jpg......Page 52 p0054.jpg......Page 53 p0055.jpg......Page 54 p0056.jpg......Page 55 p0057.jpg......Page 56 p0058.jpg......Page 57 p0059.jpg......Page 58 p0060.jpg......Page 59 p0061.jpg......Page 60 p0062.jpg......Page 61 p0063.jpg......Page 62 p0064.jpg......Page 63 p0065.jpg......Page 64 p0066.jpg......Page 65 p0067.jpg......Page 66 p0068.jpg......Page 67 p0069.jpg......Page 68 p0070.jpg......Page 69 p0071.jpg......Page 70 p0072.jpg......Page 71 p0073.jpg......Page 72 p0074.jpg......Page 73 p0075.jpg......Page 74 p0076.jpg......Page 75 p0077.jpg......Page 76 p0078.jpg......Page 77 p0079.jpg......Page 78 p0080.jpg......Page 79 p0081.jpg......Page 80 p0082.jpg......Page 81 p0083.jpg......Page 82 p0084.jpg......Page 83 p0085.jpg......Page 84 p0086.jpg......Page 85 p0087.jpg......Page 86 p0088.jpg......Page 87 p0089.jpg......Page 88 p0090.jpg......Page 89 p0091.jpg......Page 90 p0092.jpg......Page 91 p0093.jpg......Page 92 p0094.jpg......Page 93 p0095.jpg......Page 94 p0096.jpg......Page 95 p0097.jpg......Page 96 p0098.jpg......Page 97 p0099.jpg......Page 98 p0100.jpg......Page 99 p0101.jpg......Page 100 p0102.jpg......Page 101 p0103.jpg......Page 102 p0104.jpg......Page 103 p0105.jpg......Page 104 p0106.jpg......Page 105 p0107.jpg......Page 106 p0108.jpg......Page 107 p0109.jpg......Page 108 p0110.jpg......Page 109 p0111.jpg......Page 110 p0112.jpg......Page 111 p0113.jpg......Page 112 p0114.jpg......Page 113 p0115.jpg......Page 114 p0116.jpg......Page 115 p0117.jpg......Page 116 p0118.jpg......Page 117 p0119.jpg......Page 118 p0120.jpg......Page 119 p0121.jpg......Page 120 p0122.jpg......Page 121 p0123.jpg......Page 122 p0124.jpg......Page 123 p0125.jpg......Page 124 p0126.jpg......Page 125 p0127.jpg......Page 126 p0128.jpg......Page 127 During the 1950s and 1960s the Soviet design bureau Yakovlev was responsible for a series of swept-wing twin-engined jet combat aircraft, all of which are covered in this Aerofax volume and in the usual format with a mass of new information, details, and illustrations from original Russian sources.
