Annalise is driven to buy a set of old books or journals through an internet auction. Unsure why she is consumed with the desire to get them since the covers have long since been worn away, she places her bid and hopes for the best. Luck would have it: Annalise is the winning bidder and sets out to retrieve her newest treasure. As Annalise submerges herself into the first book, she is shocked to find a story written within its pages of a lost love from long ago. With each turn of the page, she is drawn more and more into the story that is being told and finds at the conclusion an even stronger desire to find the man, Hades. Has Annalise finally found the man of her dreams? Hades is the god of the dead and not perfect. He came to realize that he truly loved someone: a woman that he wasnt honest with and because of this mistake, he lost her. Desperately wanting to make peace with the mistake he made, he devises a plan and hopes the journals of their past life together will be enough to bring his lost love back to him and in the process mend his soul. Will this plan be enough or will it end in disaster like his last one? Will Hades finally have the chance to spend his life with the one he loves?
