“My soul is in love with Jesus Christ. Others will make sure that the world survives!” mentioned [here](https://sponsa-christi.blogspot.com/2012/12/good-books-for-consecrated-virgins-and.html) cites [*Summa Theologica* , I-IIae, q. 108 a. 4](https://isidore.co/aquinas/summa/FS/FS108.html#FSQ108A4THEP1) in pt. 2, "Matrimony and Virginity: Two Charisms", fn. 27 WARNING: Although Fr. Cantalamessa was ordained in 1958 and "has served as the [Preacher to the Papal Household](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preacher_to_the_Papal_Household) since 1980" ([source](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raniero_Cantalamessa)), [he has propagated the Modernist interpretation of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes](http://www.christorchaos.com/SayWhatFatherCantalamessa.htm). In this work, the only questionable part is where he mentions "some brothers were praying over me for a new release of the Holy Spirit;" cf. [this](http://www.traditioninaction.org/HotTopics/a017htPentecostal_Vennari.htm), which shows him a supporter of "Pentecolism" and a promotor of religious indifferentism (cf. [*Quanta Cura*](http://www.papalencyclicals.net/Pius09/p9quanta.htm) §3) in a homily where he said non-Catholic sects "are not merely tolerated by God ... but positively willed by Him as an expression of the inexhaustible richness of His grace and His will for everyone to be saved"! Fr. Cantalamessa also thinks that the Blessed Virgin Mother did not vow her virginity ( *contra* [*Summa Theologica* III q. 28 a. 4](https://isidore.co/aquinas/summa/TP/TP028.html#TPQ28A4THEP1))! Here's his Modernist gobbledygook (pt. 2, ch. 3): > I believe that the idea of a “vow” of virginity taken by Mary, apart from being biblically unfounded, actually diminishes rather than enhances Our Lady’s virginity, because it would then depend more on the personal initiative of a creature than on the sovereign and free initiative of God. It would therefore be an ascetical practice, rather than a work of grace. A Pentecostalist would probably think an "ascetical practice" is opposed to "a work of grace." He also thinks "Jesus Himself [...] has become 'the Lord'", as though He wasn't before‽ Good § (ref:9.14): "virginity comes to the aid of married people themselves. It liberates marriage and each of the partners from the unbearable weight of having to be ‘everything’ for the other, of taking the place of God." mentioned hereWARNING: Although Fr. Cantalamessa was ordained in 1958 and "has served as the Preacher to the Papal Household since 1980" (source), but he has propagated the Modernist interpretation of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes.
