It also includes 10 photographs from that period. Focusing on poverty alleviation and development in Ningde, the book presents, in vivid language, a combination of carefully designed strategies, ideas, systems, and methods. It also provides a full account of the two years Xi spent hard at work there. His dedicated efforts to lead the locals out of poverty serve as testimony to his firm convictions and deep love of the people.
