Tuberculosis: Voices Of The Unheard (who Regional Publications Eastern Mediterranean)

This book is a pictorial based on a photo shoot conducted by Italian photographer Ricardo Venturi and sponsored by WHO and the Stop TB Partnership in Afghanistan in 2007. The photo shoot was carried out in conjunction with the visit of global Stop TB Ambassador Ms Anna Cataldi, who has helped raise support for tuberculosis control, tuberculosis patients and affected families in Afghanistan. These award winning photographs spell out the suffering caused by a disease long forgotten but still haunting thousands of lives in the country.
