First Published in 2000. This is Volume II of thirteen the Oriental series looking at Persia. Written around 1882, this book includes a translation from Persian to English of the love poem by Jami of ‘Yusuf and Zulaikha initially created in the fifteenth century. Trbner's Oriental Series was set up by Kegan Paul Trench & Trbner in 1890. It was undoubtedly the most important English language series in oriental studies of the period, publishing works between 1890 and 1930.
