معرفی کتاب «Trends in artificial intelligence : 2nd Congress of the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence, AIIA, Palermo, Italy, October 29-31, 1991 : proceedings» نوشتهٔ Wolfgang Wahlster, Elisabeth André, Winfried Graf (auth.), Edoardo Ardizzone, Salvatore Gaglio, Filippo Sorbello (eds.)، منتشرشده توسط نشر Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg در سال 1991. این کتاب در فرمت djvu، زبان انگلیسی ارائه شده است.
"This book collects the scientific papers presented at the 2nd Congress of the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence, held in Palermo in October 1991. It displays the state of the art of both Italian and European scientific research in AI. The book begins with an invited paper by W. Wahlster et al. The bulk of the book is then divided into five parts on: - Knowledge representation (18 papers), - Knowledge acquisition (5 papers), - Natural language (5 papers), - Perception and robotics (5 papers), - Architecture and technologies (5 papers). A section containing short papers completes the book. The high quality of the papers reflects massive research activity mainly devoted to the theoretical aspects of AI, but clearly aimed at consolidating the results already achieved. Several contributions are oriented to the technological aspects of AI."--PUBLISHER'S WEBSITE Knowledge-based media coordination in intelligent user interfaces....Pages 1-16 Some notes on cumulative reasoning....Pages 17-27 A family of three-valued autoepistemic logics....Pages 28-37 Viewpoints subsume beliefs, truth and situations....Pages 38-47 Automating meta-theory creation and system extension....Pages 48-57 Implementing exceptions in inheritance by concept transforming actions....Pages 58-67 Approximate entailment....Pages 68-77 Negation as failure and constraints through abduction and defaults....Pages 78-87 A hybrid system with datalog and concept languages....Pages 88-97 Optimal search for conjunctive goals using constraints....Pages 98-107 FSS-WASTL interactive knowledge acquisition for a semantic lexicon....Pages 108-116 Hybrid encoding: Constraints on addressing structure....Pages 117-126 Uncertainty and cyclic dependencies a proposal and a network implementation....Pages 127-136 Abductive reasoning in a multi-theory framework....Pages 138-146 The abstract interpretation of hybrid rule/frame-based systems....Pages 147-156 Taxonomic reasoning in configuration tasks....Pages 157-166 Representation and use of teleological knowledge in the multi-modeling approach....Pages 167-176 Towards the integration of different knowledge sources in model-based diagnosis....Pages 177-186 Integrating statistics, numerical analysis and dependency-recording in model-based diagnosis....Pages 187-196 Version-space induction with multiple concept languages....Pages 197-207 Knowledge compilation to speed up numerical optimization....Pages 208-217 New perspectives about default hierarchies formation in learning classifier systems....Pages 218-227 Use of a causal model to learn diagnostic knowledge in a real domain....Pages 228-237 Extending inverse resolution to build up abstractions....Pages 238-247 Using word association for syntactic disambiguation....Pages 249-260 A computational model of tense selection and its experimentation within an intelligent tutor....Pages 261-270 An efficient context-free parsing algorithm with semantic actions....Pages 271-280 From scopings to interpretation: The semantic interpretation within the AlFresco system....Pages 281-290 Parsing dependency grammars....Pages 291-300 A system based on neural architectures for the reconstruction of 3-D shapes from images....Pages 301-311 Retrieval of high-level data structures from stereo vision data....Pages 312-321 High-level and low-level computer Vision: Towards an integrated approach....Pages 322-331 An associative link from geometric to symbolic representations in artificial vision....Pages 332-341 A theory of sensor-based robot navigation using local information....Pages 342-351 Insights into cooperative group design: Experience with the LAN designer system....Pages 353-364 Direct interaction among active data structures: A tool for building AI systems....Pages 365-374 Introducing knowledge representation techniques in database models....Pages 375-384 Self-organizing maps: A new digital architecture....Pages 385-398 Electrical equipment maintenance training: An its application in industrial environment....Pages 399-408 Temporal and spatial data and default assumptions in DIPSY-E system....Pages 409-414 Visual indexing with an attentive system....Pages 415-419 On neural network programming....Pages 420-424 A logic for the representation of spatial knowledge....Pages 425-429 Truth maintenance in approximate reasoning....Pages 430-434 A strategy for design and development of complex knowledge-systems....Pages 435-439 Efficient compilation of first order predicates....Pages 440-444 A flexible tool for assumption-based user modeling....Pages 445-449 KL: A neural model for capturing structure in speech....Pages 450-454 Lexical discrimination within a multilevel semantics approach....Pages 455-459 Metalevel representation of analogical inference....Pages 460-464 Semantic interpretation of copulative sentences....Pages 465-469 Typicality for plausible reasoning....Pages 470-474 A distributed image-understanding system....Pages 475-479 In [14] and [11] a general theory of non-monotonic reasoning, based on the seminal papers [5,6], has been given: an abstract notion of logical consequence for non-monotonic logic is axiomatically introduced and studied.
