Moderator - I really feel bad about this. The scanner took great care with a very old book that was aged and may have been in danger of falling apart I don't know. The book is from 1870. It looks like the pages were all done individually using a flat bed or perhaps a camera setup. This person even went to the trouble of including an errata sheet at the beginning of the book which was appended by hand. Regardless, unfortunately the scanner should have taken one more precaution. Bleedthrough. It is really bad and evident on almost every page. It could have been lessened during the scan using several methods. After the fact, you can try and OCR but that may not work because the OCR may not be able to get a clear image. No cover page.Looks like it contains exceptional information and of real historic significance.. if only ...
