Topology Symposium Siegen 1979: Proceedings of a Symposium Held at the University of Siegen, June 14-19, 1979 (Lecture Notes in Mathematics, 788) (English and German Edition)

These are the proceedings of an international topology symposium which was held at the Gesamthochschule (Comprehensive University) of Siegen, June 14 -19, 1979. There was a rich program of plenary lectures, special sessions and mathematical films. Some of these activities are reflected in this collection of research papers and lecture notes. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the symposium. In particular, we are most grateful to J.F. Adams, W. Browder, J. Cerf, M. Kervaire and T. Petrie for their help in planning the scientific program.
