...These ten individuals enjoyed precedence to Islam. Their sacrifice was the greatest and their jihād was the most superior. They were thus deserving of being guaranteed Jannah due to these and other services. This treatise of ours is only a humble presentation, in an effort to acknowledge their superiority and profess their lofty and high status. We have not covered everything reported about them. A thorough and complete study was not our goal; it is something which the nature of this treatise cannot encompass, as it is above count and measure.
