Annotation The two-volume set LNCS 6496 and 6497 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 9th International Semantic Web Conference, ISWC 2010, held in Shanghai, China, during November 7-11, 2010. Part I contains 51 papers out of 578 submissions to the research track. Part II contains 18 papers out of 66 submissions to the semantic Web in-use track, 6 papers out of 26 submissions to the doctoral consortium track, and also 4 invited talks. Each submitted paper were carefully reviewed. The International Semantic Web Conferences (ISWC) constitute the major international venue where the latest research results and technical innovations on all aspects of the Semantic Web are presented. ISWC brings together researchers, practitioners, and users from the areas of artificial intelligence, databases, social networks, distributed computing, Web engineering, information systems, natural language processing, soft computing, and human computer interaction to discuss the major challenges and proposed solutions, the success stories and failures, as well the visions that can advance research and drive innovation in the Semantic Web Front Matter....Pages - I18n of Semantic Web Applications....Pages 1-16 Social Dynamics in Conferences: Analyses of Data from the Live Social Semantics Application....Pages 17-33 Using Semantic Web Technologies for Clinical Trial Recruitment....Pages 34-49 Experience of Using OWL Ontologies for Automated Inference of Routine Pre-operative Screening Tests....Pages 50-65 Enterprise Data Classification Using Semantic Web Technologies....Pages 66-81 Semantic Techniques for Enabling Knowledge Reuse in Conceptual Modelling....Pages 82-97 Semantic Technologies for Enterprise Cloud Management....Pages 98-113 Semantic MediaWiki in Operation: Experiences with Building a Semantic Portal....Pages 114-128 A Case Study of Linked Enterprise Data....Pages 129-144 Linkage of Heterogeneous Knowledge Resources within In-Store Dialogue Interaction....Pages 145-160 ISReal: An Open Platform for Semantic-Based 3D Simulations in the 3D Internet....Pages 161-176 ORE - A Tool for Repairing and Enriching Knowledge Bases....Pages 177-193 Mapping Master: A Flexible Approach for Mapping Spreadsheets to OWL....Pages 194-208 dbrec — Music Recommendations Using DBpedia....Pages 209-224 Knowledge Engineering for Historians on the Example of the Catalogus Professorum Lipsiensis ....Pages 225-240 Time-Oriented Question Answering from Clinical Narratives Using Semantic-Web Techniques....Pages 241-256 Will Semantic Web Technologies Work for the Development of ICD-11?....Pages 257-272 Using SPARQL to Test for Lattices: Application to Quality Assurance in Biomedical Ontologies....Pages 273-288 Exploiting Relation Extraction for Ontology Alignment....Pages 289-296 Towards Semantic Annotation Supported by Dependency Linguistics and ILP....Pages 297-304 Towards Technology Structure Mining from Scientific Literature....Pages 305-312 Auto-experimentation of KDD Workflows Based on Ontological Planning....Pages 313-320 Customizing the Composition of Actions, Programs, and Web Services with User Preferences....Pages 321-329 Adding Integrity Constraints to the Semantic Web for Instance Data Evaluation....Pages 330-337 Abstract: The Open Graph Protocol Design Decisions....Pages 338-338 Evaluating Search Engines by Clickthrough Data....Pages 339-354 Abstract: Semantic Technology at The New York Times: Lessons Learned and Future Directions....Pages 355-355 What does It Look Like, Really?
