Michael Dane was a professional investigator for over twenty-five years. His Frank McBride stories are entirely fictional but inspired by his own experience as an officer in H.M. Customs & Excise’s National Investigation Service. Michael re-trained as a lawyer and joined the private sector where he investigated cases of fraud, corruption, smuggling, money laundering and breaches of international sanctions on five continents.
