معرفی کتاب «The rainflow method in fatigue : the Tatsuo Endo memorial volume : the papers presented at the International Symposium on Fatigue Damage Measurement and Evaluation Under Complex Loadings in memory of Prof. Tatsuo Endo, the inventor of the rainbow method,» نوشتهٔ Y. Murakami (Eds.)، منتشرشده توسط نشر Butterworth-Heinemann Ltd در سال 1992. این کتاب در فرمت pdf، زبان انگلیسی ارائه شده است.

This is a survey of recent research into the Rainbow Method in fatigue. The development of an overall method for evaluating the service life of engineering components subjected to fatigue loading has been greatly aided by the Rainflow Method. This cycle counting method, first proposed in the late 1960s is now the subject of further development. It has been applied to solve many problems, as a result of the great success it has shown in predicting crack initiation and propagation. A compendium of work carried out on this subject is presented in this book. Experts from all over the world have described the state of the art in the development and application of the Rainflow Method and associated techniques Content: Front Matter , Page iii Copyright , Page iv Inside Front Cover , Page viii A brief personal history of Tatsuo Endo , Page ix Dedication , Pages x-xi , Yukitaka Murakami Prof. Tatsuo Endo's original papers presented at JSME meeting during 1967–1968 , Pages xii-xxiv List of Contributors , Pages xxv-xxix List of supporting company, symposium chairman, panel discussion organizer and session chairmen , Pages xxx-xxxi Rainflow Cycle Counting : A Historical Perspective , Pages 3-10 , Darrell Socie ALGORITHM OF THE RAINFLOW METHOD , Pages 11-20 , Hiroyuki Anzai RAINFLOW CYCLES IN RANDOM LOADS , Pages 21-30 , Igor Rychlik MULTIAXIAL RAINFLOW: A Consequent Continuation of Professor Tatsuo Endo's Work , Pages 31-40 , A. The Symposium was held in memory of Professor Tatsuo Endo, inventor of the rainflow method of counting fatigue cycles. His contributions were key to the development of an overall method for evaluating the service life of engineering components subjected to fatigue loading. This volume contains 23 papers organized into four parts. Part I on the cycle counting method includes papers on the historical development of the rainflow cycle counting method, and a fatigue analysis data reduction concept for general multidimensional time series. Part II on ground vehicles includes studies on methods for solving vehicle fatigue problems caused by body resonance, and a synthetic computer system for fatigue damage-based design of weld structure for construction machines. Part III on fatigue testing and analysis includes papers on crack closure load measurements during fatigue crack growth tests on the titanium alloy Ti-6A1-4V, and growing fatigue cracks under varying amplitude loadings. Part IV presents a panel discussion on total system of fatigue damage measurement and evaluation under complex loadings. This is a survey of recent research into the Rainbow Method in fatigue. It contains descriptions by world-renowned experts on the state of the art in the development and application of the Rainflow Method and associated techniques.
