This is a book that takes science well beyond the bounds of what it can in fact do: it is full of fantasy and absurdity. It proposes a pseudo-cosmological theory that centers on a so-called Omega Point - a boundary point at the end of the universe - which, it is claimed, will after the ending of time accomplish resurrection of the dead by a process of computer emulation. Its author states he has been inexorably driven to these conclusions through application of relativity theory, particle physics, and computer science to the study of cosmology.
