Klein, have made it clear that our exploration of New Guinea has been effective all the same and that the achievements obtained in our part of this area in many respects will stand the touch of international criticism. It is, however, beyond doubt that we have lagged behind in the domain of ethno-graphical exploration -not only in New Guinea as a matter of fact. See A. P.
