The International Classification of Mental and Behavioural Disorders has undergone important changes between the ICD-9 and ICD-10 revisions. This document presents conversion tables between Revision 8 (1965), Revision 9 (1975) and Revision 10 (1993), to allow the "translation" of data obtained using ICD-8, ICD-9 or ICD-10 into one another in mental health programme development and evaluation as well as In research. The conversion tables contained in this document will be included in a forthcoming WHO publication, the ICD-10 PA (Psychiatric Adaptation), This document is being distributed in order to make the tables available in the interim, until that publication appears.
