The history of the Diocese of Green Bay

March 3, 2018, marks 150 years that Catholics have officially been praising God and helping others as the Diocese of Green Bay. This book offers an overview of that journey, which dates back more than 150 years. From the early days of Jean Nicolet, Fr. Claude Allouez, Fr. Florimond Bonduel, Fr. Samuel Mazzuchelli and Fr. Theodore Van den Broek to the present church under Bishop David Ricken, this history shows some of the struggles and triumphs Catholics have faced to be 324,000 strong in the 16 counties that make up the Diocese of Green Bay today
