ABOUT THE AUTHOR: The Rt Honorable Priest Kailash Leonce was born in the rural community of La Grace, the countryside of the village of Laborie which is located to the south of the Caribbean Island of St. Lucia. He was born in 1977 and was the 3rd of 5 children birthed by his mother. From an early age, the Honorable Priest was interested in the sciences and always knew for as long as he could remember that he wanted to be a Rastafari and a doctor. So, after spending a few years working in the shipping industry and as a teacher, it was natural that when the opportunity was presented, he would commit himself to the Livity of Ras Tafari and the scientific study of medicine. In 2001, the opportunity came, and the Honorable Priest packed all his perceived necessities (including a bag loaded with all manner of medicinal roots, barks, and leaves) and headed to Cuba to begin his studies in medicine. As a Man very much in tune with his own nature, the Honorable Priest and his wife, an international student like himself whom he met in Cuba, were internally directed to transfer to a medical school in St Lucia. After a brief stay there, they transferred to the American University of Antigua College of Medicine where The Honorable Priest continued to build upon his knowledge in conventional medicine, graduating in 2001.
