Dating rule number one: don't get attached. Katie Parker loves her job as a small-town veterinarian. She's the one who makes sure that the animals in Rocky Creek are safe and in the best possible shape. Cows, horses, dogs - Katie takes care of them all. Then Sadie Smith walks into the veterinary clinic with a pet duck, and Katie is instantly smitten with the city girl who is determined to make a life for herself out here in the middle of nowhere.
