Three Household Books of Isabella of France, wife of Edward II of England, are known to exist. The earliest of these, a British Museum Cotton manuscript for the fifth regnal year of Edward II (8 July 1311 to 7 July 1312), is printed in full in English and the original Latin. Annotation A look at the preservation of the California Tule Elk that has focused on two central questions facing all those fighting to save a threatened species: Who benefits from survival?
