A rare fiction novel by Hakim / Hakim Bey, pseudonym of the influential American Anarchist author and poet Peter Lamborn Wilson (October 20, 1945 – May 22, 2022), primarily known for his concept of Temporary Autonomous Zones, short-lived spaces which elude formal structures of control. During the 1970s, Wilson lived in the Middle East, where he explored mysticism and translated Persian texts. Starting from the 1980s he wrote numerous political writings under the pen name of Hakim Bey, illustrating his theory of "ontological anarchy". A prolific author, he wrote for many publications including for the the North American Man-Boy Love Association's NAMBLA Bulletin. In life, he authored more than 20 books. Posthumously, his legacy, ideas, and personal life are still subject to debate in Left-wing / Anarchist circles.
