Spin-off novel, based on Gerry Anderson's 'Thunderbirds' tv series, set in the year 2066. Published by Armada, a paperback imprint of May Fair Books Ltd. This is the 7th of nine original novels, mostly written by John Theydon (a pen-name for John W Jennison), based on the British science fiction television series. In this seventh novel, International Rescue is forced to fight for its existence against the sinister Hood. Even the World Navy seems against the Tracys -- it wants to use Tracy Island to test an atomic missile! Jeff Tracy must either break security or see his organisation in ruins. But has the Hood triumphed too soon? With the help of Lady Penelope and her chauffeur, Parker, Scott Tracy and his brothers can still save themselves and the world. The television show was made in 1964-65, by ATV/ITC for Lew Grade (later Lord Grade), in Supermarionation, on film and in colour. It aired on the commercial channel, and led to two feature films released in the UK in 1966 and 1968.
