Surface Magnetism: Correlation of Structural, Electronic and Chemical Properties with Magnetic Behavior (Springer Tracts in Modern Physics Book 240)

معرفی کتاب «Surface Magnetism: Correlation of Structural, Electronic and Chemical Properties with Magnetic Behavior (Springer Tracts in Modern Physics Book 240)» نوشتهٔ Mathias Getzlaff (auth.)، منتشرشده توسط نشر Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg در سال 2010. این کتاب در فرمت pdf، زبان انگلیسی ارائه شده است.

This volume reviews on selected aspects related to surface magnetism, a field of extraordinary interest during the last decade. The special emphasis is set to the correlation of structural, electronic and magnetic properties in rare earth metal systems and ferromagnetic transition metals. This is made possible by the combination of electron emission techniques (spin polarized photoelectron spectroscopy, magnetic dichroism in photoemission and spin polarized metastable deexcitation spectroscopy) and local probes with high lateral resolution down to the atomic scale (spin polarized scanning tunneling microscopy / spectroscopy). Front Matter....Pages i-xii Introduction....Pages 1-4 Experimental Aspects....Pages 5-20 Structural and Electronic Properties of Rare Earth Metal Systems....Pages 21-52 Influence of Adsorbates....Pages 53-84 Magnetic Characterization....Pages 85-136 Summary....Pages 137-138 Back Matter....Pages 151-154 This volume reviews selected aspects related to surface magnetism. It emphasizes the correlation of structural, electronic and magnetic properties in rare earth metal systems and ferromagnetic transition metals.
