The small African nation of Scambia is in danger, and it doesn't even know it. International syndicates want to create a lawless safe haven for well-heeled criminals, and Scambia fits the bill for a lot of reasons. Problem: the president of Scambia is a dedicated servant of his country. Solution: the vice-president of Scambia isn't. All that's needed is financial backing, good timing, and a little honor among thieves, and a fragile democratic nation will fall. What the criminals can't count on is Remo Williams. The President of Scambia's life is in danger when one sleezy goon schemes to assassinate not only a leader, but immobilize and destroy the entire country and transform its peaceful society into a thundering safe haven for international hoods.
