Studies On Prophecy: A Collection Of Twelve Papers (supplements To Vetus Testamentum, V. 26.) (english, French And German Edition)

The reason for the publication of this collection of papers in the series Supplements to Vetus Testamentum is shortage of space in the journal itself. The articles are arranged in more or less chronological order, with those on general topics at the end. Although the reader cannot expect to find here a systematic treatment of prophecy, we venture to hope that these studies of texts from both the pre-exilic and the post-exilic periods, together with discussions of important terms and ideas, will make a contribution to the understanding of the prophets.
