It is the last of three books in The Adventures of Lando Calrissian trilogy, and one of the oldest Expanded Universe works. It is set prior to the events of A New Hope. Still on their quest for easy credits and an occasional Sabacc game, Lando and Vuffi Ra come across a young Oswat, adrift and starving. After saving his life, they agree to meet him at the entrance of his home at the StarCave of ThonBoka.
