STAR: Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries

A zine about STAR, a group that fought for houseless trans sex workers, which was part of the explosion of organizing for gay liberation that followed in the wake of the 1969 Stonewall Riots. With a new cover design and additional texts, this independent zine builds on work that was published by Untorelli Press in 2013, which itself borrowed from activist/writer Tourmaline and the gay liberation press that originally produced the interviews and newspapers through which STAR made itself heard.
