Spin-off novel, based on Gerry Anderson's 'Secret Service' tv series, set in the year 2069. Published by Armada, a paperback imprint of May Fair Books Ltd. This is the 1st of two original novels written by John Theydon (a pen-name for John W Jennison), based on the British science fiction television series. In this first novel, the BISHOP (British Intelligence Service Headquarters: Operation Priest) sends its undercover agent, Father Unwin, to hunt down an enemy agent codenamed 'the Destroyer'. Unwin has access to some unusual technology, including the Minimizer -- a device which can shrink secret agent Matthew to one-third of his normal size, so that Matthew can go anywhere! The television show was made in 1969, by ATV/ITC for Lew Grade (later Lord Grade), in Supermarionation, on film and in colour. It aired on the commercial channel.
