معرفی کتاب «Solar Magnetic Phenomena: Proceedings of the 3rd Summerschool and Workshop held at the Solar Observatory Kanzelhohe, Karnten, Austria, August 25 - September ... (Astrophysics and Space Science Library)» نوشتهٔ Arnold Hanslmeier; Astrid Veronig; Mauro Messerotti; Sonnenobservatorium Kanzelhöhe، منتشرشده توسط نشر Springer در سال 2005. این کتاب در 30 صفحه، فرمت pdf، زبان انگلیسی ارائه شده است.

The book contains lecture papers and contributed papers on different aspects of magnetic phenomena in the solar atmosphere. The main topics addressed are the physics of solar flares, prominences, coronal mass ejections, magnetic helicity, high-energy radiation from the Sun, observations of the photosphere and chromosphere as well as highlights from the SOHO mission. The lecture papers provide a very valuable introduction and overview on recent developments in these fields of solar physics. The comprehensive lists of references at the end of each review enable the interested reader to go into more detail. The book is particularly useful for graduate students and young researchers working in solar physics. This book contains the proceedings of the Summerschool and Wo- shop "Solar Magnetic Phenomena" held from 25 August to 5 September 2003 at the Solar Observatory Kanzelh· ohe, · which belongs to the Institute for Geophysics, Astrophysics and Meteorology of the University of Graz, Austria. The book contains the contributions from six invited lecturers. They give an overview on the following topics: observations of the pho- sphere and chromosphere, solar?are observations and theory, coronal mass ejections and the relevance of magnetic helicity, high-energy radiation from the Sun, the physics of solar prominences and highlights from the SOHO mission. The lectures contain about 25 to 30 pages each and provide a valuableintroduction to the topics mentioned above. The comprehensive lists ofreferences at theendof each contribution enablethe interested reader to go into more detail. The second part of the book contains contributed papers. These - pers were presented anddiscussed in theworkshop sessions during the afternoons. The sessions stimulated intensive discussions between the p- ticipants and lecturers Contains lecture papers and contributed papers on different aspects of magnetic phenomena in the solar atmosphere. This book addresses topics such as the physics of solar flares, prominences, coronal mass ejections, magnetic helicity, high-energy radiation from the Sun, observations of the photosphere and chromosphere. The Sun is the only star where we can observe surface structures in fine detail.
