Shaman's Warning

Hector Green is seventeen and the last of the Chiricahua Apache. He has the sight, a power that has passed down through generations of his Shaman forebears. Hector knows something dark and dangerous is coming that threatens the fragile existence of his people on a ravaged Earth. And he knows that the Technos who live in the orbital colonies high above the Earth will be the source of the destruction he sees coming. Hector's journey of discovery takes him across a ruined continent with his daughter, Niamh, and a strange mutant son, Seth, as his companions, searching for a solution to the fast looming apocalypse. One thing in their favour is that in creating Seth the Technos have monumentally blundered. The Technos disdain for the groundling tribes blinds them to the superior genetics of the Shamans and when they engineered Seth they created something far stronger than they could have ever imagined. The Technos escaped the biological ruin that was planet Earth in the wake of the breeder virus. Now they want their planet back and to do it the plan to destroy all life and begin again. But humanity hasn't died in the blighted landscape and those with the sight have survived. The sight allows them to see the dangers their runied world throws at them and it allows them to see the future death the Technos will rain down upon them. But Hector Green, one of the last of the Apache does not intend to go quietly. Along with his strange son Seth and a small band of followers he intends to defend the lives of the Shaman peoples to the very end.
