Robert Walsers Prosastücke Im Lichte Friedrich Nietzsches: Ein Poetologischer Vergleich (Textologie) (German Edition)

For the first time, this study undertakes a comparison of Robert Walser’s and Friedrich Nietzsche’s poetic methodologies. Assuming a"poetics of unintelligibility," Strinz draws out the characteristics of both authors in selected texts, focusing particularly on the staging of self-reflection, the critique of the subject, and fragmentation. Die vorliegende Arbeit führt erstmalig einen Vergleich von Robert Walser und Friedrich Nietzsche anhand der von ihnen eingesetzten poetologischen Verfahren durch. Dieser Ansatz entwickelt den in der Nietzscheforschung in den letzten Jahren entstandenen und in der Walserforschung aktuellen Trend, vermehrt poetologische Verfahren in den Blick zu nehmen und Kontextstudien nicht als auf einem Lektürenachweis basierende Einflussforschung zu verstehen, durch die textnahe Lektüre von bisher noch nicht in dieser Methodik analysierten Textpassagen weiter.Der aufgespannte nietzscheanische Vergleichshorizont vermag die poetologische Faktur von Walsers Prosa zu profilieren und dem Leser instruktive Einblicke in die Besonderheiten des walserschen Schreibens zu eröffnen, etwa in seinier Inszenierung von Selbstreflexivität, in die exemplarische Dartellung von Ich-Dissoziation und Fragmentierung. Die Ergebnisse der exemplarischen Textanalysen konturieren das erkenntniskritische Potenzial der Texte Walsers und bereichern die Diskussion um experimentelles Erzählen und zur Funktion von Autor-Rollen in der Moderne
