معرفی کتاب «RF and Microwave Module Level Design and Integration (Materials, Circuits and Devices)» نوشتهٔ Mohammad Almalkawi;، منتشرشده توسط نشر <<The>> Institution of Engineering and Technology در سال 2019. این کتاب در فرمت epub، زبان انگلیسی ارائه شده است.
RF and Microwave Module Level Design and Integration presents a thorough introduction to the basic elements of radio frequency (RF) and microwave modules, followed by a discussion of system-level concepts and measures that can be applied to real-world designs. With a strong emphasis on design and integration, the book offers practical solutions to today's commonly encountered challenges in RF and microwave modules, including system integration, network loss reduction techniques, electromagnetic compatibility, crosstalk reduction techniques, computer-aided design tools, system-level modeling methodologies, and system-level performance evaluation via common RF measurements. Several design examples are presented across the book chapters. This book describes techniques for the design and development of today's complex (multi-chip) radio frequency and microwave modules for an audience of engineers in academia and industry, and advanced students focusing on RF and microwave module design and integration. This book is intended to bring together fundamental concepts and elements needed in the design, integration, and characterization phases of modern radio frequency (RF) and microwave modules and to familiarize the interested reader with the common challenges in this rapidly changing field. While design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) are two important practices that stress the need for careful attention at the early design stages of a product, module integration to achieve optimal RF performance is an art form that takes years to master. In this context, the objective of this book is to provide the necessary practical and theoretical background needed to tackle a multitude of issues accompanied by the design of contemporary RF modules. The topics covered can serve a broad range of individuals: those just entering the field, graduate-level students, and researchers, as well as practicing engineers seeking new domains to expand their knowledge, understand design tradeoffs, and looking for a quick guide in digesting the several aspects of the RF module design processes and their common challenges. The book comprises eight chapters which discuss: packaging, lumped and distributed passive elements, microwave network analysis, impedance matching networks, electromagnetic field couplings, CAD, components of RF front-end modules, component- and module-level measurements Front Matter 1 RF and microwave device and module packaging 2 Lumped and distributed passive elements 3 Basics of microwave network analysis 4 Impedance matching networks 5 Electromagnetic field couplings 6 CAD of RF and microwave circuits and modules 7 Components of RF front-end modules 8 Component-and module-level measurements Back Matter
