Including some of the most celebrated poets and visual artists in the world, revolution | revolisyon | révolution 1804 – 2004: An Artistic Commemoration of the Haitian Revolution will mark the beginning of a yearlong celebration of the bicentennial of Haiti's independence. The collection, which includes creative works in English, Kréyol and French, will celebrate this accomplishment as well as communicate the importance of art as a tool to illustrate and explain this historic social change movement.
