Promoting Psychological Well-Being in Children and Families

Psychology's contribution to health research and clinical practice continues to grow at a phenomenal pace. In this book a global and multidisciplinary selection of outstanding academics and clinicians focus on the psychological well-being and positive health of both children and families in order to 'depathologise' mental disorders. Family relationships can often act as a strong influence and a support for children as they mature into adolescents and experience a variety of environments.
