معرفی کتاب «Progress in Artificial Life: Third Australian Conference, ACAL 2007 Gold Coast, Australia, December 4-6, 2007 Proceedings (Lecture Notes in Computer Science, 4828)» نوشتهٔ James Montgomery (auth.), Marcus Randall, Hussein A. Abbass, Janet Wiles (eds.)، منتشرشده توسط نشر Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg. این کتاب در فرمت pdf، زبان انگلیسی ارائه شده است.
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the Third Australian Conference on Artificial Life, ACAL 2007, held in Gold Coast, Australia, in December 2007. The 34 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 70 submissions. Research in Alife covers the main areas of biological behaviour as a metaphor for computational models, computational models that reproduce/duplicate a biological behaviour, and computational models to solve biological problems. Thus, Alife features analyses and understanding of life and nature and helps modeling biological systems or solving biological problems. The papers are organized in topical sections on heuristics, complex systems, evolution, biological systems, and networks Front Matter....Pages - Alternative Solution Representations for the Job Shop Scheduling Problem in Ant Colony Optimisation....Pages 1-12 Analyzing the Role of “Smart” Start Points in Coarse Search-Greedy Search....Pages 13-24 Concealed Contributors to Result Quality — The Search Process of Ant Colony System....Pages 25-35 Ants Guide Future Pilots....Pages 36-48 Information Transfer by Particles in Cellular Automata....Pages 49-60 An Artificial Development Model for Cell Pattern Generation....Pages 61-71 Rounds Effect in Evolutionary Games....Pages 72-83 Modelling Architectural Visual Experience Using Non-linear Dimensionality Reduction....Pages 84-95 An Evolutionary Benefit from Misperception in Foraging Behaviour....Pages 96-106 Simulated Evolution of Discourse with Coupled Recurrent Networks....Pages 107-118 How Different Hierarchical Relationships Impact Evolution....Pages 119-130 A Dual Phase Evolution Model of Adaptive Radiation in Landscapes....Pages 131-143 Directed Evolution of an Artificial Cell Lineage....Pages 144-155 An Integrated QAP-Based Approach to Visualize Patterns of Gene Expression Similarity....Pages 156-167 Complement-Based Self-Replicated, Self-Assembled Systems (CBSRSAS)....Pages 168-178 Self-maintained Movements of Droplets with Convection Flow....Pages 179-188 Structural Circuits and Attractors in Kauffman Networks....Pages 189-200 The Effects of Learning on the Roles of Chance, History and Adaptation in Evolving Neural Networks....Pages 201-211 Unsupervised Acoustic Classification of Bird Species Using Hierarchical Self-organizing Maps....Pages 212-221 The Prisoner’s Dilemma with Image Scoring on Networks: How Does a Player’s Strategy Depend on Its Place in the Social Network?....Pages 222-231 Population-Based Ant Colony Optimisation for Multi-objective Function Optimisation....Pages 232-244 Mechanisms for Evolutionary Reincarnation....Pages 245-256 An Evolutionary Algorithm with Spatially Distributed Surrogates for Multiobjective Optimization....Pages 257-268 Examining Dissimilarity Scaling in Ant Colony Approaches to Data Clustering....Pages 269-280 A Framework for the Co-evolution of Genes, Proteins and a Genetic Code Within an Artificial Chemistry Reaction Set....Pages 281-291 In-Formation Flocking: An Approach to Data Visualization Using Multi-agent Formation Behavior....Pages 292-304 A Principled Approach to Swarm-Based Wall-Building....Pages 305-319 Pattern Extraction Improves Automata-Based Syntax Analysis in Songbirds....Pages 320-332 A Modified Strategy for the Constriction Factor in Particle Swarm Optimization....Pages 333-344 A Differential Evolution Variant of NSGA II for Real World Multiobjective Optimization....Pages 345-356 Investigating a Hybrid Metaheuristic for Job Shop Rescheduling....Pages 357-368 Enhancements to Extremal Optimisation for Generalised Assignment....Pages 369-380 Identification of Marker Genes Discriminating the Pathological Stages in Ovarian Carcinoma by Using Support Vector Machine and Systems Biology....Pages 381-389 Ancestral DNA Sequence Reconstruction Using Recursive Genetic Algorithms....Pages 390-400 Back Matter....Pages -
