Pluto and Charon: The New Horizons spacecraft at the farthest worldly shores

In 14 July 2015, the New Horizons spacecraft passed through the system of the former ninth planet, Pluto. This book gives an overview of the results that had been obtained from data sent by New Horizons to Earth till spring 2016. "Pluto & Charon" is intended for armchair astronomers and other interested readers who have some basic knowledge of astronomy and other natural sciences but are more interested in colour images than in charts and equations. Dr Rainer Riemann, astrophycisist of the University of Heidelberg, Germany, has added a preface to this volume.
