When LynAnn Johnson, a nurse and mother, accidently meets Jeff Kelley, the county district attorney, for the second time, he does not remember their first encounter but sorrowfully she remembers it well. Jeff weaves his way into her life and dangerous events begin for LynAnn. When she is followed from work she shrugs it off as merely "some creep," but the events escalate to the point of fighting for her life.
