No surrender : the story of a Norwegian "Nacht und Nebel" prisoner in Nazi Germany

This is the harrowing story of Hans Cappelen, an early member of the Norwegian Resistance Movement in the Second World War. Arrested in 1941 and horribly tortured, he was finally deported to Germany as a 'Nacht und Nebel' prisoner, destined to disappear in 'Night and Fog'. He spent the rest of the war in some of Nazi Germany ́s most infamous camps, among them Natzweiler, Dachau and Buchenwald. Along with a handful of fellow survivors, in the spring of 1945 he was rescued by Count Bernadotte ́s 'White buses' and transported to neutral Sweden, where he was nursed back to health and eventually reunited with his wife and the young daughter he had last seen as a small child.
