Nippur Neighborhoods (The Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago)

This study of two domestic neighbourhoods at Nippur, TA and TB, correlates information from texts found in these houses with architectural modifications to the buildings, and considers the socio-economic circumstances of the occupants. The chapters following Stone's reconstructions of the houses include descriptions of the artifacts and general conclusions. Then follow lengthy appendices of object catalogues, text copies and lists of personal names found in the texts, and plates of architectural plans. Elizabeth C. Stone.
