Special Agent Cody Thomas, from the FBI’s Violent Crimes Unit in Los Angeles, takes a week off to do a little fishing, maybe a bit of hiking, in Big Bear. HE'S WATCHING Deputy Jilly Reid left the Central Homicide Unit of San Bernardino and moved up the mountain to get away from death. Handing out parking tickets and dealing with noise complaints is just fine with her. HE'S WAITING No sooner does Cody hit town when he runs into Jilly and sparks fly, but there's no time waste.
