EDITORIAL REVIEW: Two rival paleontologists are summoned to find their college mentor who has disappeared in Tajikstan. They find that a race of Neanderthals with a facility for "remote viewing" have survived on the Himalayas, and American and Russian agents want to use them for military and espionage purposes.
