This review is based on a sociological survey on the topic of indigenous peoples’ traditional knowledge related to climate change, environment and historical strategies for their adaptation. This work presents an assessment of climate change impacts on traditional land use by Indigenous Peoples of the North within Kamchatka. This expert assessment considers the feasibility of creating a monitoring network related to climate change and involving the participation of tribal community groups representing indigenous peoples. На основании социологического исследования подготовлен обзор, основанный на традиционных знани- ях коренных народов, связанных с изменениями климата, состоянием окружающей среды и историческими стратегиями по их адаптации. Проведена оценка воздействия климатических изменений на традиционное природопользование коренных малочисленных народов Севера Камчатки. Дана экспертная оценка о целе- сообразности создания мониторинговой сети наблюдений, связанных с изменениями климата, при участии родовых общин коренных народов.
