If you want to know how hypnosis really works (and, no, it has nothing to do with waving of hands or other similar nonsense), you will want to read this book. If you want to know the "magic" behind Ericksonian techniques and Neuro-Linguistic Programming, you have to read this book. From one of the true masters of hypnotherapy, this is one book that can really change your life!! ReviewI've been practicing hypnosis all my life and didn't know it. And so have you!! --Robert Anton Wilson author of __Prometheus Rising__ If I could only ever read three books on Ericksonian hypnosis I'd choose __Training Trances__ by Overdurf and Silverthorn; __My Voice Will Go With You__ by Erickson and Rosen; and this book, __Monsters and Magical Sticks__. If I could only have three books on NLP I'd chose __The Structure of Magic 1__ and __Frogs into Princes__, both by Bandler and Grinder; and this book, __Monsters and Magical Sticks__. Yes, I really do think it is that good... --Andy Bradbury, author of __Develop Your NLP Skills__ and __NLP for Business Success__ One of the most important books you will read in your lifetime. This book has been on my recommended reading list for over 10 years and it will remain there for another 10. --Zanne Marie Gray, BookReview.com ____About the Author________Steven Heller, Ph.D. was widely in demand as a clinician, lecturer and trainer of the Ericksonian method, as well as his own method, Unconscious Restructuring®.
