Continuing Nepal's Ancient History, we now arrive at the end of Lichhavi rule. The first volume of Medieval Nepal deals with the period starting from the end of the Lichhavi rule to the rule of Yaksamalla (1482 A.D). D.R Regmi closely examines various manuscripts, colophons, the Ancient and Modern Chronicles, inscriptions. He dismantles some long held arguments and particularly those arguments deriving their basic premiss from the modern chronicles, which he says is merely a figment of imagination. Preface Contents I.
