This book analyzed the development of Russian media education researches from 1950 to 2010 years. The list of theses of the Russian authors on the subject of Media Education is about 180 titles since 1950. Nearly 70 of them have been defended for the recent 10 years. Author indicated the gradual increase of theses on media education (with the exception of the decrease in the nineties which is explainable because at that time there was the decrease of Russian scientific research in all the fields).
