The Mating is a sweet and spicy story spotlighting a very contemporary heroine opposite a gorgeous supernatural male. I liked the push and pull dynamic between Tonya and Lucius until they�re both overwhelmed by their need and physical greed for one another. The humorous tidbits that pop up throughout the story and dialogue made it worth my while . . . I can vouch for the fact she�s submitted sterling work. . . . Ms. Monroe never fails to deliver when it comes to crisp, descriptive writing. Tonya�s and Lucius� character development is the strongest part of the story, which was a big plus when you consider the fact that without solid characters the operation is a dismal failure. I got a kick out of reading it. Sensuality rating: Explicit I liked this paranormal romance story. This is a fast-paced story filled with action, and lots and lots of sexy scenes between the two main characters. I was hooked from the very beginning. I enjoyed the interaction between Tonya and Lucius. I even liked Lucius when he was in his wolf form. I thought he was funny and sweet. Tonya saw herself as being on the heavy side, but Lucius saw her as his perfect mate. He accepted her and wanted nothing more than to make her happy forever. They will have to fight an enemy that wants to destroy them both. Lucius will have to make a very difficult decision if he wants to keep Tonya. The love scenes between them are hot. This story contains very explicit love scenes and language. Happily Ever After Reviews Reviewer: Yadkny Boy thinks he�ll never find a mate; girl thinks she�s too unattractive and fat; boy scents mate and immediately pursues; girl eventually learns of his dual nature and relents to the mating. I have to commend Mandy Monroe on her extremely colorful vocabulary used throughout the story to describe the emotions the characters experience. The ending was surprisingly unexpected and leaves an opening for the author to pursue further. Recommended reading for those looking for an extremely short story packed with lots of possessive mating.
