Loegumkloster Church : a living cultural heritage

Around 1170 a group of Cistercian monks arrived at Loegum. The place is now called Loegumkloster. They made their church a miracle of red brick. Here it still stands, one of the most beautiful red-brick Cistercian churches in Scandinavia, north Germany, and Poland, and a harmonious unity of form and spirit.
