Purpose:The purpose is to provide a quick, clinical support guide for pediatric nurses. It fully covers the scope of each subject in an easy to read, bulleted format. It meets all objectives.
Audience:This book is useful for anyone practicing in the field of pediatric nursing including students, nursing staff, and nurse practitioners. Contributors and consultants are all credible practitioners in the field.
Features:This is a compact and concise book with appropriate illustrations and tables when needed to enhance the presentation. It is divided into five logical sections that are alphabetized to make it simple for the reader to locate information. Life-threatening conditions and alerts are highlighted for the reader as well.
Assessment:This is a terrific reference for those at all levels of pediatric expertise. As a pediatric clinical nurse specialist with 25 years of pediatric nursing experience, I found this to be a useful quick reference for a variety of disorders, treatments/procedures, and diagnostic tests. The clinical tools are helpful as well.
