L’impersonnel et le sacré. Giorgio Agamben, lecteur de Simone Weil

A study of Simone Weil as a major influence on Giorgio Agamben (from his earliest texts to his latest). Her influence is put into perspective in relation to that of Hannah Arendt and Martin Heidegger, particularly reagrding the rhythmic interpretation of the work of art. Agamben's key concepts, such as the interruption of time, the impersonal, bare life (the Bloom), and sovereign violence, are given new light.
