معرفی کتاب «Japanese Special Naval Landing Forces: Uniforms and equipment 1932-45 (Men-at-Arms)» نوشتهٔ Gary Nila, Robert A. Rolfe, Christa Hook، منتشرشده توسط نشر OSPREY Publishing LTD در سال 2006. این کتاب در فرمت pdf، زبان انگلیسی ارائه شده است.

The spearhead of Japan's assault landing operations both in China pre-Pearl Harbor, and in US and British territory post-Pearl Harbor, was provided by the Special Naval Landing Forces - 12 numbered battalion-size Imperial Japanese Navy units. They garrisoned a number of the islands which the US Marines then had to re-claim in some of the bloodiest battles of the Pacific War of World War II (1939-1945). These included the infamous battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. This book provides a comprehensive treatment of the elite force which has never before been examined in such detail in English, covering weapons and equipment as well as uniform and insignia. img003.jpg......Page 2 img001.jpg......Page 1 img003.jpg......Page 0 img004.jpg......Page 3 img005.jpg......Page 4 img006.jpg......Page 5 img007.jpg......Page 6 img008.jpg......Page 7 img009.jpg......Page 8 img010.jpg......Page 9 img011.jpg......Page 10 img012.jpg......Page 11 img013.jpg......Page 12 img014.jpg......Page 13 img016.jpg......Page 14 img017.jpg......Page 15 img018.jpg......Page 16 img019.jpg......Page 17 img020.jpg......Page 18 img021.jpg......Page 19 img022.jpg......Page 20 img023.jpg......Page 21 img024.jpg......Page 22 img025.jpg......Page 23 img026.jpg......Page 24 img027.jpg......Page 25 img028.jpg......Page 26 img002.jpg......Page 27 The spearhead of Japan's assault landing operations both in China pre-Pearl Harbor, and in US and British territory post-Pearl Harbor, was provided by the Special Naval Landing Forces - 12 numbered battalion-size Imperial Japanese Navy units. The Imperial Japanese Navy's Special Landing Force units enjoyed a reputation out of proportion to their small size. Often wrongly termed “Imperial Marines”, they were in fact sailors led by Naval officers, and traced their origins directly to landing parties from warships. Their true combat debut was at Shanghai in 1932; thereafter the SNLF expanded and fought in the assaults that followed Pearl Habor in 1941, and were dispersed as island garrisons during the Pacific campaigns. This book describes their uniforms and equipment in unprecedented detail, including color photos of original items from private collections. img003.jpg 2 Osprey - Men at Arms 432 - Japanese Special Naval Landing Forces - Uniforms and Equipment 1932-45.pdf 1 img001.jpg 1 img003.jpg -1 img004.jpg 3 img005.jpg 4 img006.jpg 5 img007.jpg 6 img008.jpg 7 img009.jpg 8 img010.jpg 9 img011.jpg 10 img012.jpg 11 img013.jpg 12 img014.jpg 13 img016.jpg 14 img017.jpg 15 img018.jpg 16 img019.jpg 17 img020.jpg 18 img021.jpg 19 img022.jpg 20 img023.jpg 21 img024.jpg 22 img025.jpg 23 img026.jpg 24 img027.jpg 25 img028.jpg 26 img002.jpg 27 Beskrivelse af de japanske landgangsstyrkers uniformer, grader og gradstegn, feltudrustning og våben anvendt i perioden 1932 - 1945
